Pricing
Sometimes medical insurance covers the cost of counseling. Call your insurance company and ask about nutritional counseling in your specific situation. Krista is a provider for several medical insurance networks and will bill your insurance as a service. Some questions you may want to ask your insurance company include:
- Do I have preventive benefits that cover nutrition counseling with ICD-10 code Z71.3?
- What are my benefits for nutrition counseling with CPT codes 97802 and 97803?
- Do I have any limits for the number of visits or hours spent with my dietitian per year?
- Do I have any out-of-network benefits if I choose a dietitian that is out of network for my plan?
Modern Nutrition NW cannot guarantee your insurance company's payment for a claim. If your insurance company doesn't cover nutritional counseling, consider investing in your health by reviewing your options with a Modern Nutrition NW pre-pay package.
