Comprehensive Nutrition Assessment
Two sessions to evaluate current laboratory values, medical history and usual food intake. You get a detailed written report of the findings along with nutrition recommendations.
One on one counseling to discuss your primary health concerns and nutrition goals. We will review health history, usual food intake and dietary preferences, lifestyle factors, and unique challenges. Follow-up appointments can then be made to implement your personalized nutrition plan.
Follow-up sessions are specific to client needs and can include: review or update an established nutrition plan, further education and counseling, and goal tracking.
These packages are designed to create an ongoing partnership for clients seeking more of a coaching experience with support and accountability. There are 6 and 12 session packages available. Contact us for more details and pricing sheets.

Sometimes medical insurance covers the cost of counseling. Call your insurance company and ask about nutritional counseling in your specific situation. Krista is a provider for several medical insurance networks and will bill your insurance as a service. Some questions you may want to ask your insurance company include:
- Do I have preventive benefits that cover nutrition counseling with ICD-10 code Z71.3?
- What are my benefits for nutrition counseling with CPT codes 97802 and 97803?
- Do I have any limits for the number of visits or hours spent with my dietitian per year?
- Do I have any out-of-network benefits if I choose a dietitian that is out of network for my plan?
Modern Nutrition NW cannot guarantee your insurance company's payment for a claim. If your insurance company doesn't cover nutritional counseling, consider investing in your health by reviewing your options with a Modern Nutrition NW pre-pay package.
